08. Awareness Malaria Control programme.
09. School health checkup.
10. Control of Blindness.
11. Awareness regarding AIDS.
District Bhiwani is committed to outcomes envisaged in National Rural Heath Mission (NRHM) while ensuring systems that can respond to the needs of community through an integrated, focused, participatory approach with assured equitable and quality services.
Major Schemes and the Programs to provide affordable quality health care are:
Delivery Huts
The District is establishing delivery huts at a central place of the village the ANM are available round the clock. This is to ensure the clean, safe and acceptable place of delivery. In Bhiwani, we were allocated 36 delivery huts.
 
Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY)

• Home Deliveries : Rs. 500/-(Urban Area) Rs. 500/- (Rural Area)
• Institutional Deliveries: Rs. 600/-(Urban Area) Rs. 700/- (Rural Area)
• Haryana State Sub plan: (Cash Assistance to Schedule Caste Only):
• For SC/ST only.
• For institutional Deliveries only.
• Rs. 500/- at the time of ANC Regn.
• Rs. 1000/- at the time of Delivery
 
Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA)
ASHA is link woman between the Health Institutions and the village people. ASHAs will be women from the village for 1000 population. ASHA is to mobilize the pregnant mother for institutional delivery & accompany her to the health institution for the delivery. She will counsel the mother for safe MTPs and on prevention and treatment of RTIs/STIs along with facilitating the needed care during the ante-natal/natal/post-natal period, Immunization/breast-feeding/birth & death registration. She will be paid honorarium based on the services she has rendered to the client and will have no fixed payment. There are 1075 ASHAs in District Bhiwani.
Jacha-Bacha Scheme
• Incentive Scheme for conducting deliveries in the Govt. Health facilities.
• Launched on 15th Auguest 2008.
• Sub Centre: to ANM Rs. 400/- ( Male New Born) Rs. 600/- (Female New Born)
• PHC: to MO/LMO Rs. . 400/- (Male New Born) Rs. 600/- (Female New Born) SN/ANM Assisting Rs. 200/- L.T. on duty   Rs. 50/- Class IV on duty Rs. 50/- per case.
• CHC: to MO/LMO Rs. 400/- (Male New Born) Rs. 600/- (Female New Born) SN/ANM Assisting Rs. 200/- L.T. on duty   Rs. 50/- Class IV on duty Rs. 50/- per case.
• If at CHC/PHC delivery is conducted by SN, then Rs. 500/- (Male New Born) Rs. 700/- (Female new Born)
• From Feb. 01, 2009: at Sub Centre incentive will be applicable after 3 deliveries per month per ANM. Incentive to SN   at PHC/CHC after 5 deliveries per SN per Month. Doctors: after 5 deliveries per month per doctor per month.
 
Referral Care Transport
District is having 5 ambulances placed at CHCs (CHC Gopi, Jhojhu Kalan, Loharu, Kairu & Tosham) to provide referral services to needy in the rural areas.
 
Strengthening of Immunization
Under RCH-II programme, all ANMs have been asked to hold immunization days at their sub centers on Wednesday. To cover the un-reached populations the ANMs are being financially supported to hire local people for the delivery of vaccine at the campsites.
Non Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV)
Non Scalpel Vasectomy is being promoted in the district for population stabilization. Under this scheme the camp approach is followed to train the medical officers on the simplest and safest technique of stopping births.
 
24X7 PHCs
8 PHCs are made 24X7 PHCs to provide 24 hrs health services to the patients. These are Kadma, Chhappar, Bahal, Jui Kalan, Ranilla, Kharak Kalan, Chang & Jamalpur.
 
Village Health & Nutrition Day (VHND)
VHND is celebrated on every Wednesday after immunization session for awareness of the village people about health & sanitation activities.
